Back to Crafting with a bit of Tartan!

Finally, after spending the last two months moving home and family from the NE of England to the NW, getting the new house sorted and organised and sorting out my internet connection, I can get back to some crafting. We've settled really well in our lovely new house and lovely area, and what a great way to throw me back into it all, and get my mojo kick-started again, than with a DCM Dare! Here is my card :-

I've used Plaid paper from MME's Wild Asparagus collection to comply with the tartan theme of the dare. I cut the boat from brown card on my craft robo and layered the pieces to make lovely solid chip-board-like pieces. The other pieces of paper are from Collage Press.

The dare this week is set by the fabulously talented Jo and I love her style of cards - I think this one is inspired by her style.
