Scrummy Stash Blog Challenge Day - Time

Hello again. Its Saturday again - already!! - where is the time going?? No pun intended but this week the theme over on the Scrummy Stash Cafe Blog is "Time", set by Maria. Which is :-

"As we come to the end of this year (where did it go?!!!) I want you to think about TIME! and create a project to reflect that. So it could be Time to Reflect, Time to Remember, Time to Party, Time to set those new years resolutions that we all break come mid january!!! You get my drift!!!"

I've done a card this week, here is my example and thanks for looking.:)

Supplies:- Out and About Kit (My Mind's Eye Out and About #2 papers), Colourbox inkpad and flourish stamp by Studio G. All from the Scrummy Stash Cafe. Sentiment quote printed directly to the paper.

Also, due to it being Christmas time, Maria has extended the deadline for last weeks sketch challenge and is also giving two weeks to complete this one!

DCM Team Dare - 4 of the Best!

Time for another challenge by the Daring Cardmakers. Which is:-
"Today we have decided to revisit your most favourite dares of 2007. The four top dares, decided by the number of comments you made on them are (in no particular order): 'buttons', 'ribbons', ...'and cut' and 'frames'. We would like you to use this week as many of those dares as you like to make your card in any theme and any style."

I've used "buttons" and "ribbons" and its the second Valentine's Day card I've done. Thanks for looking.

Supplies:- Bliss Kit (with My Mind's Eye Bliss papers), Stamps Away Love Stamp - all from the Scrummy Stash Cafe.

Check back tomorrow as there will be another challenge from the Scrummy Stash Cafe Blog and there is still time (just a little bit!!) to enter the current one. A winner for each challenge is drawn from the hat and will receive a £10 e-voucher! :) Happy New Year. :)

I've joined the Sisterhood of Stamping Bloggers! I'm in group 7 and looking forward to chatting to other stampers. :) I've been making cards for several years now and Scrapbooking for nearly two years, and I'm a member of the very scrummy Scrummy Stash Cafe Design Team, making lots of crafty stuff. :) I'm also a member of the UK Scrappers Forum and the Craft Swap Forum. I love all sorts of papercrafting and spend my crafty time making cards and scrapbook layouts. Stamping has always been one of my favourite techniques, if not my favourite. Happy stamping!! :)

CSF Fat Page Challenge and Caardvarks Ric Rac

I haven't done a challenge from CSF for quite some time, so I thought it was about time. There are several challenges going on over at the forum and today I've done the current Fat Page challenge and the theme is "New Year". I've taken my inspiration from Scrapbook Inspirations magazine which has a current project for a New Year's resolutions box holding little matchbooks.

My Fat Page will be made into a New Year card for someone and the matchbook is designed to hold New Year resolutions (not mine LOL!!). It conveniently fits in with the current Caardvarks Ric Rac challenge too. :) Hope you like it and thanks for looking.:)

Supplies: BG Pheobe papers, ric rac from stash and brown card from stash. Little bird stamp by Stamps Away from the Scrummy Stash Cafe.

Love Elsie Zoe Papers

I hope you've all had a lovely Christmas:)

Its been so hectic here I haven't managed to do much crafting.......but there is still plenty time left! However, I did manage to dig out my Love Elsie Zoe papers that I bought last month, but hadn't used, and I've made a card to fit in with the current Di Hickman sketch (Dec No.4). It also fits in with the current UKS use your stash challenge. Here it is and thanks for looking.:)

Its Saturday Challenge Time!!!

Its my turn again to set the challenge over on the Scrummy Stash Cafe blog and this week I thought you might like to follow a sketch. Its designed for a scrapbook page, but, as we all know, a sketch is really a base to work from which can be adapted into a card or maybe something else!! :) We'd love to see your lovely creations, so please do join in if you can.

A winner will be drawn out of the hat next week who will receive a £10 e-voucher for the Scrummy Stash Cafe!!!

Thank you all for the lovely comments you have left on here over the past few months and have a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year! :) xx. Here is the sketch:-

And here is my layout using the Bliss kit :-

DCM - I'm Free

The current challenge over at DCM is :-

"This week, we the DCM team, would like you to design a card using a magazine 'freebie'. Either a craft magazine freebie, or indeed any other magazine freebie, papers, embellishments, tools, etc. anything really, as long as it came from a magazine."

I did some of my cards using the 3 kings stamp which came with Craft Stamper magazine 3 years ago (well, it was 2 or 3). I do have other Christmas stamps, but I always seem to dig this one out and do a few with it. I've already shown the card below, but I haven't taken photos of all my cards, however, they're all very similar.

Thanks for looking :) I'll be back tomorrow with an update as I'm setting this week's Scrummy Challenge, but I'd still like to wish you a Happy Christmas and enjoy the festive season. :)

Rip Up Your Stash!!!!

Its my turn to set the current challenge at the Scrummy Stash Cafe, which is to Rip Up Your Stash!! Go on then........rip it up! Get tearing those beautiful papers and let us see what wonderful creations you come up with. I've used the new Bliss kit from the Scrummy Stash to create the birthday card below. The papers are from the Bohemia Bliss range from My Mind's Eye, which I've inked around the edges with Moonlight White Brilliance ink pad and i've added a princess crown brad (Dovecraft), then stamped with See D's Happy Birthday Stamp and Studio G's Her Majesty stamp. The white flower and ric rac came with the Scrummy Bliss kit.

I've also based this card on the current DCM challenge - Inside Out and Di Hickman's current sketch.

Also, following is a layout for the Rip Up Your Stash Challenge using the Out and About kit. The papers in this kit are also from My Mind's Eye - Out and About No. 2 range.

Thanks for looking. :)

Out & About Kit and DCM Little Extra

Its Santa's little helper No. 8 - Tag Time - over on DCM today. The challenge is:- "By now you've probably finished making you cards, so for a change we thought we'd get you making some gift tags. However, if you've still got cards to make, then you can always use tags on cards instead. It's up to you, as long as there's a tag involved it's fine by us!"

The Scrummy Stash Cafe has launched two new kits - the Out and About kit and the Bliss kit - both kits are made up with the papers by My Minds Eye which are just delicious!! I've started playing with them and have made a straight forward "quickie" card, its a tag birthday card with the Out and About Kit and its perfect for the current little extra challenge over at DCM. Thanks for looking. :) I'm off to have another play! :)

Thanks for looking. :)

Wednesday Stamper - Toys

This week's theme for Wednesday Stamper is toys. So for me that means a baby card!! I'm nearly finished with these Anna Griffin papers and they've been perfect for baby cards. I've also used my See D's stamps which have been stuffed away for a while and have coloured the images with my watercolouring pencils again. Thanks for looking. :)

DCM - Santa's Little Helper No7

I'm early with this one. Well, I already had the card made up - I just stuck a button on the reindeer's nose to match in with the current dare over at DCM! Which is to make a card with buttons and bows.

I've used My Mind's Eye papers, my Stamps Away reindeer stamp and coloured with watercolour pencils and the velvet ribbon is from Stash. Thanks for looking. :)

Colour it in and Tweet Tweet

Its challenge day today again from the Scrummy Stash Cafe Blog and we're down to one challenge per week now. Today it's Karen's turn - "Karen challenges you all to use some form of colouring in on your crafty creations! So what are you waiting for? Dig out those watercolour pencils, paints, chalks, crayons etc and get colouring!!!"

I've also decided to combine this one with yesterdays DCM challenge which is by Rhi - "I dare you to make a card with a bird or birds on, it doesn't have to be a real species, the more weird and wonderful the better!"

So....... here is my attempt and I've used my watercolouring pencils for the owl, papers, button, ribbon and rub-on are from my Mellow Kit (papers BG). Thanks for looking.:)
