DCWV Card Challenge - #2

Another card for the challenge - I'm on a roll!! Again I used the DCWV Floral Print Stack and tore the edges with an Anna Griffin tearing ruler. Used some ribbon stash, Maya Road chipboard heart shape, inked up and embossed with clear thick enamel. Two silver paper clips from Paperchase and I stamped with a tulip stamp from Kathy Davis and Inkadinkadoo. Thanks for looking. :)

DCWV Card Challenge (with no specs!!)

Well, last week (Monday) I lost my glasses in town - don't ask me how, but I did. So, with no spare pair to use and having to wait 7-10 days (day 9 and still waiting!!) for my new pair, I've only managed to do a double LO and a card for the DCWV card challenge on UKScrappers. Here's the card:

I've kept it quite simple by using one of the papers from the DCWV Floral Print Stack, dabbed the edges with my new Adirondack paint dabber. Stamped with the free stamp from Craft Stamper a month or two ago onto a piece of chipboard covered with a DCWV piece of card, from the Brights Stack. I've also used a rub-on from K&C (Brenda Walton), and some old ribbon stash. Thanks for looking. :)

A Busy Bee

I've been a busy bee this week. Apart from getting down the beach on the odd sunny day we've had, I've managed to get the odd bit of crafting done too. This is my effort for the August Week 3 Challenge. I've scrapped an old picture using Doubletake cardstock from the Collage Press Seeds Collection. Courtesy of the Seeds Kit from the Scrummy Stash Cafe (my favourite shop!!!!!). I'm claiming all 30 points for this one - the colours green, turquoise and white are in there (10pts), two metal snaps (5pts), hidden journaling (5pts) and a heritage sepia photo (10pts).

Any Excuse!

The paper on this card is K&Co (Brenda Walton) and the Baby Love message is a K&Co (BW) rub-on. The brown and cream ribbon is old stash, the little feet are stamped using a stamp I had made up from a print of my daughters feet, and the buttons are from papermania. Oh and the green card is Bazzill Basics.
